Priority Outcomes

Delivery of the HealthySteps Core Components—including universal screening, care coordination and systems navigation, and access to consults and interventions from an early childhood development and behavioral health prevention and promotion expert—help move the needle in these four Priority Outcome areas.

While the Priority Outcomes are not an exhaustive list of all outcomes HealthySteps helps drive for babies, toddlers, and their families, focusing on the Priority Outcomes helps us better:

  • assess and communicate about progress towards impact,
  • facilitate high-quality delivery of HealthySteps, and
  • identify areas where the National Office can provide additional support to sites.
