Feeding concerns are literally much of the “bread and butter” of pediatric providers’ work with caregivers. The 2022 HealthySteps Symposium addressed both typical and atypical feeding behaviors in patients ages 0-3 including the stages of feeding, ways to promote self-regulation and positive parenting practices related to feeding, and how partnering with caregivers and primary medical providers can address feeding challenges, including food insecurity, in primary care.
This virtual learning event supports HealthySteps Specialist Competencies in Area 3: The Caregiving Relationship (3-K8, 3-S5, 3-S8, and 3-S10) and Area 4: Caregiver & Family Well-Being (4-K1, 4-K8, 4-S1, and 4-S11).
