Our Family Advisors

Families are at the heart of what we do. HealthySteps Family Advisors provide important feedback on their experience to enhance our program for all families.

What Do Family Advisors Do?

The Family Advisors are a small group of HealthySteps caregivers engaged by the HealthySteps National Office to provide feedback on the program and our resources. Family Advisors offer their unique insights and perspectives to improve and refine the program for all families, and help to shape the mission, vision, and direction of the group.

We collaborated with Family Voices, a national family-led organization that promotes partnership with families at all levels of health care to improve health care services and policies for children, and with HealthySteps Ambassadors to inform the development and launch of the Family Advisory Group.

How Can I Serve as an HS Family Advisor?

Each year, a new group of parents and caregivers who have participated in HealthySteps will serve on the Family Advisory Group. We typically open up applications in the summer. If you are interested in learning more about becoming an advisor, please reach out to [email protected].
